Very nice. Congrats and welcome to the 968 community.

I have a 95 Cabriolet and am searching for the correct 17" wheels for that model year. I see a lot of 993 "Cup 2" wheels for sale where the fronts are 7" wide, ET55. The 968 owner's manual lists the 17" front wheel as 7.5" wide, ET65. Can someone confirm that? Also, if anyone has some for sale, I'm interested.

Jeff,
I just went out and looked at the 968....

Fronts: 7.5 ET65
Rears: 9 ET55

I've always called that style Cup 2's (from the 993), but I'm not sure that's the offical name.
You might bag a set of wheels from Oaklahoma Foreign, Wheel Enhancement or even the PCA Mart....I've seen them from time to time.

Factory 17s are rarely available for sale and typically sell quickly.

I had my 968 for 2.5 years before I happened upon a set.

That's what I suspected.

Lewis, thanks for taking the time to look.

www.wheelcollision.com also has them. Just note, two different 17" wheels were offered, commonly known as Cup 1 or Cup 2. The stock 16" wheels were Cup 1 for all years.

ooh purty. Congratulations. You guys are right silver is absolutely stunning on this car.

That pic of the car in the trailer, I could hear the sigh of satisfaction, like bringing a new baby home.
