Eric,

I am not sure which if any of these you are driving now but I think you might want to update your signature.

thanks Bruce... I finally joined Rennlist a few weeks ago. My old signature reappeared for years ago. I started to edit last night and went to dinner. Thanks for the reminder.

I am surprised by "92' SFR/9M Supercharged 968 CAB (Never should have started)" and would love to hear or read the complete saga some day.

Now back to topic, the error displayed on the 968.net forum is caused by a database permission error. Once Ray returns from wherever he is I am sure he can fix it easily.

That's the new garage, so it must be the sy 996. Glad to know your color choice has finally come around.

Personally I feel that the words "extensive" and "inactive" are both unfair. Perhaps "growing technical library" and "Unmoderated active discussion forum hidden amongst a rarely updated 968 site".
"Extensive": Giving the site a casual checkout I see the complete repair manual plus most supplements, scans of the Tech Data booklet, owner's manual and more, plus more DIY articles than I care to count. Seems extensive to me.

"Inactive": http://968.net (the subject of that term) was last updated 31 Jan 2004.

I think I'll leave things as they are.

Bruce it was 2 years of a drama... It was fun but I will never again be a Pioneer under these circumstances... Maybe someday I will post the entire story on my site.

Damian... Yep SY! Full GT3 MKI Aero Kit and wheels. Also that is the new garage...

Here are some recent pics...

I agree that there is a lot of pirated content which is owned by Porsche on 968 Forums. Additionally there are nicely prepared tech articles contributed to the forum. But in my opinion there is more technical information of use to me on Rennlist and on 968.net.

Eric also has some good DIY info at http://968s.com/DIY.htm .

When it is running which has been the vast majority of the time since I started looking at 968s in '02 the 968.net forum has the largest number of members and posts of any 968 forum I am aware of.

Eric, In the last picture is the wall beyond the fountain your home or your neighbors?

Bruce I guess we're going to go around and around on this, for no real reason.
  • Eric's site has extensive technical literature online, therefore my use of the word you complained about is completely fair and accurate. FWIW I don't know of a 968 site with more such material available.
  • As to "Inactive: you may need to re-read what I actually have in place on my page: I never said the 968.net forum is/was inactive, I said that the site which hosts it is. And it... is.

Can we leave this alone now?
