H&R springs don't lower the car 2". I never said anything about sheetmetal, only about the effects on the chassis. And 1%hp increase won't be felt by anyone. But if it makes you feel faster, float your boat. Until someone can prove to me that removing this component doesn't cause damage I'll leave it in. And with that I'm done.

the h&r springs drop it a bit more than the M030 springs and therefore also increases stresses, but not as much as 2" lowering - again though, who cares? - it's a fun mod that makes the car more fun to drive and won't likely result in chassis damage in the years that gasoline will still be available

by definition the chassis is the sheetmetal - that's what it is made of - what component exactly are you concerned about?
