Real 968 Turbo S in Columbus, Ohio??
Being that this is in my own backyard, I'm fairly interested to see this car.

Does this belong to anyone here?

This car has been in Germany for as long as I remember. It's the second from last 968 TS built.
As far as I know Porsche own no 968 TS currently, although they'd like to put one in one of their museums.
Judging from what this guy says, it looks like he's made it up.

Thanks for clarification Thom. I thought I had seen those photos before.
So what you are saying is that I should not get my hopes up that this guy is on the level and that I may see that car in person, unless I take a trip to Switzerland? Bummer.

He's bogus. I like how he included a picture of my 944TS engine in MY garage! I think those other pictures are also posted on my website as well.

For clarification, that is not my car. But those are pictures of a real 968TS that have been floating around the internet for a while. It is my engine pictured however. I bet he just grabbed them from this page on my site, http://www.968turbo.com/galleryc.htm

OK, apparently he sold the 968 to his brother, so he states. He also has a Carrera GT AND a GT2 that he autocrosses.

I have never seen him at any of my local events though. I hope he comes out to one, would be interesting to see a GT2 do an autocross (sorta like using a chainsaw to cut cheese, wouldn't you say?).

Hey tifosiman - we meet again!
He also claims to own the Ocean Club restaurant in Columbus, which must come as quite a surprise to Cameron Mitchell, the real owner.
If you want a funny read, check out the thread where he claims to have bought a Carrera GT custom painted Cobalt Blue:

Yes, that's me attacking him toward the end, and it's my fault the thread got closed. I doing one of my periodic searches for info on the 968 turbo S and found someone claiming to have one just down the road (ok 180 miles down the road). I was a bit unhappy to find out it was all a hoax, and probably overreacted. Besides, it's more fun watching 'freek keep changing his story and try to come up with excused for why he doesn't have any pictures of his cars.
I admit I did set a trap for him with a recent post - I'm waiting to see it he takes the bait.

Hey Bill,
He did answer a PM I sent him (over there), in which he stated that his brother would bring the car to an event we have in June here in Dayton ( http://www.tajmagaraj.com/events/kreuzers_2005/ ). Uh huh.
Ann Arbor, eh? You aren't too far away at all. I'll be up there again this year for the Art Fair. I can't miss the chance to have a few new-to-me beers at Ashley's..............yum!

Oh oh, none of the links work anymore. It looks like every post he ever made and every thread he ever started have been deleted. I guess that means he didn't really own that Turbo S after all.
Here's a picture I think I lifted off Porsche's website a few years ago:
