Man that hurts just to think about it.... So sorry for your loss but really glad a brother cab driver wasn't hurt in a roll-over. That's unbelievable.

Steve! I feel like I jinxed you since this happened right after I E-Mailed you that spreadsheet with cabrio top-seals on Sunday.

Really sorry it happened and glad nobody was hurt!

Haha Luis don't worry, you didn't jinx me. I really should have stuck with my gut instinct. Saturday night I got home at like 11:00pm, very tired. I decided at that point I probably wasn't going to go because i had so much I needed to do around the house and for school. And I had this nagging feeling that it was just a bad idea. But the next morning I shrugged it off in order to see all the pretty 993TT's and 996GT3's... oh well.......

i am meeting with the guy thursday to discuss producing my bolt in 6-pt cab roll bar design, which allows for the windscreen, top, seats, and storage boxes to remain fully functional, and will pass SCCA and PCA spec

i'll be posting about it on www.968forums.com when it is available

Hi Steve:

I heard about your mishap at Saturday's 928 timing belt party, and just found this thread. I'm sorry to hear what happened, and that we are losing this beautiful example of a 968. But I'm really, really glad you were unhurt and nobody else was in the car!!!

I've been a passenger in a 911 SC Coupe "tumble action" accident, and while the driver was unhurt I was not quite that lucky - I had cuts, bruises, and a really stiff neck for a while. The roof had collapsed on my side... Well, I thank the gods of safety belts for still being here...

Either way, you need to be more careful. You know it's well known that cats have 9 lives, but I don't think they have ever established a such number for 'sharks'...

Hope to see you at the events - with or without P-car...

Default yet another one....

monday after ard 1230 in the afternoon near sand hill road on 280Northbound

I saw a black 968 coupe with all 4 sides smashed being loaded onto a tow truck.

Car was resting on the fast side of the freeway and had hit the rails....
Driver/passender compartment looked intact but I didnt see the driver...may have gone off to hospital already .....

Drive safe out there...esp with the rains we are getting....
