I am having problems with all the locks on my Wife's car. Specifically, the driver's door, key goes in but it only turns about 1/3 of the way .
Passenger door, key turns just fine however when you press the door handle in to open the door it does'nt return.
Rear Hatch: key turns but nothing happens. You can open it with the remote switch.
How difficult is it to service the locks? Anyone have any clues as to the causes, or maybe suggest a good source of information.
Any and all help appreciated. Thanks.

for the key turning problem - start with squirting graphite powder lock lubricant into the key slot and work it in by turning the key back and forth

door handle tips from GMS: Open the door, remove the Phillips head screw that holds the door handle on. Get some spray lube (... Wurth HHS2000) and spray inside the hole, aiming for the handle linkage. Refit the screw. Get the spray lube and aim the tube inside the handle (on the outside of the door) where the lever is and spray. Operate the lever a few times. Fixed. Repeat every 6 months. Clean off the residue.

Rear Hatch: ? depends...'89 & newer have an electric microswitch to work the release motor. pre '89...the key lock works with a machanical linkage. probably need to get into the trunk and watch what happens when a 2nd person turns the key for you
