Default 968 Cabrio Windscreen / Wind Deflector?

I did a little searching and couldn't really find anything regarding a wind screen / deflector for the 968 cabrio, except a mention by Damian that his yellow cabrio originally came with one.

I love driving with the top down but it can be a bit loud and windy sometimes. I'd really like to get a wind screen like I see on Boxsters and other convertibles. Anyone know if there was ever a Porsche OEM wind screen made for the 968? Or if there are any quality aftermarket ones that don't require drilling into the frame?

Here's a link to a thread on 964's that has exactly what i want, but for 964's:

As always, any help is appreciated.

If you search you can probably find one from a dealer, rumor had it that there were one or two left in US inventory-didn't someone on 968.net post a part number? I think they were around 450 or so.

I was looking in the PET but couldn't find any part number. Are there any aftermarket manufacturers? I'll check 968.net now..

I don't believe anyone sells them outside Porsche, at least I've never seen one.

flash968 said that he is about to order one from Sunset Porsche -- not sure if he has successfully acquired it. I have (had) one in my car, but my GF gets first dibs on that one.

I'll have to call up Sonnen since they are a local dealership (this 968 was actually bought there by my PO).

Joe-- If your GF decides not to want the windscreen, i'll be happy to buy it from you.

sunset can in fact get them - all of the ones that were in atlanta are now gone and you will have to either wait 4-5 weeks for it to come from germany, or pay an extra 36 bucks to get it expidited

i finally ordered mine today, unfortunately i waited too long and had to go the aformentioned expedited route

the item is $364.58 plus shipping and any expediting costs - my total at my door is about $417
