Default Full Heat On

This past weekend we had a 3-day DE event up at Watkins Glen with the Metro NY group. Besides Richard Glickel, we were the only 968's present.

I have developed a problem with my fresh air vents. It seems that I have full heat coming through all the vents. I looked at the plastic clip, under the dash, and it isn't broken.

I won't need to go to this week's Weight Watcher's meeting! My wife, who also drives the car, said she thought the polish on her toes melted off!

Any other ideas?

By the way, the new Garret turbo was absolutely amazing; such a nice linear progression of power...not like the other one, which was a bit ferocious when it came on boost. This car now feels almost like a N/A engine. But, the boost doesn't come on until around 3,200 RPM.

The Heritage radiator worked like a champ, never getting to the 2nd white line on the temp gauge.

Dunno if the heater control valve is a cause or not... Maybe the fix is closing all of the vents.

Didn't even think to look at the heater control valve...

Duh!
