Default Inline electric forced air unit for NA 3.0/968

I have seen serval electric inline forced air units for improved air flow into the NA engine. As opposed to an actual SuperC or turbo. Does anyone know if these units will help boot the performance via increased air flow to the stock air box? Increased power by 2,4,10,15 hp??? They seem to be fairly new to market. at least to me. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

or leaf blowers from home depot?
I'm a skeptic and think you should put a 0.1 before all of your potential HP gain numbers
