Default Questions about powering a stereo upgrade

I ordered a 15 amp fused Sony DSX-GS80 to replace the, I believe factory, Alpine CD player in my 968 Cab. I also am considering installing a small powered subwoofer in the range of 10 to 15 amps. I expect that I will end up replacing the factory speakers over time but consider that relatively easy compared to pulling power for the new head unit and amplifier.

My 968 Cab has the factory four speaker setup with separate tweeters in the doors. I do not believe that I have the factory underseat amps that were in 968s with more speakers. I have not checked but understand that the factory head unit fuse is 7.5 amps leading me to believe that the power wiring will not support 15 amps.

Can I add an additional circuit of less than 20 amps to the fuse box to power the subwoofer?

Any suggestions on upgrading the power wire to the head unit versus a new circuit?

I have done quite a bit of mechanical work on my 968 but have not touched the electrical system beyond plug wires and the distributor.

I can solder, crimp and shrink tube.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
