Next project: I got some M030 sway bars from Paragon, and despite a lot of searching (here and on the big wide internet, both 968 and 944, which I imagine would be similar/same?), I can’t seem to find any actual instructions on how to install these things.
I’m pretty comfortable installing anything as long as I have directions… anyone know of anything?
Thanks so much—I don’t know what I’d do without the wealth of knowledge (and generous sharing of it) here!

Hopefully these links will survive.
For the rear sway bar I found this to be helpful (from the bird site): https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...eplacement.htm
My direct memory of the front is that it's pretty plug and play (also from the bird site): https://www.pelicanparts.com/techart...eplacement.htm
On the front I went ahead and installed some strengthening brackets while I was in there, since everything was off: https://rennbay.com/944-sway-bar-braces.html (no affiliation).
Good luck

Thank you so much, @Zirconocene —this is really helpful!
I will report back, but I'm hopeful because now I at least have some idea what I'm looking at/for.![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Question for you, @Zirconocene —did you raise the car to do any of this? (I'm small, and I have Rhino Ramps which have gotten me plenty of clearance to do most things under my 991... think that'll give me enough clearance to replace the front and rear sways?) Also, the bird site said 'If you are just replacing the bushings, you do not need to remove the wheels.'... which made me wonder: I wouldn't need to remove wheels to replace the bars, would I?
Thank you—I have never done anything with sway bars before!

You are correct on all counts; you don't need to remove the wheels. In fact, I think it's better to have the wheels on and the car settled on its suspension when you do the change as you want to install things and torque them down at the "standard/resting" position.
I was lucky enough to be able to do my work with the car overhead on a 4 post lift, but your setup will work just fine. Just a note of caution, be careful when you start unbolting things completely. The sway bars aren't the heaviest things in the world but neither are they light.
Cheers

So, you purchased the "new" 968 M030 front, which is 28.6mm solid (944 343 706 31), and the 19mm rear (944 333 701 01)? If so, they would have been much less expensive buying directly from Porsche. In May 21 I paid $462 for the front and $135 for the rear at Sunset; they are slightly less now at Delaware Porsche. I also purchased the Racer's Edge Delrin bushings direct from Karl. The fronts are about $50/set and the rears are $99 since they include aluminum mounts. I have the original 968 M030 hollow front bar on my S2 and I've been running the Delrin bushings for years.
Have fun.
