Would have been relly cool. To my knowledge porsche did have 928 turbos roaming the Streets of stuttgart. Both for testing the PDK for the 956/962 racecars and also since they were testing a turocharged 928 32v engine for use in a 962. It never happened but they sure tried it🙂👌

I'll read the whole article but, straight off, what's funny is that the renderings made the 928 Turbo look like the 944 non-Turbo, whereas the S2 and Turbo 944s were more similar to the non-Turbo 928 S4. I love it for the absurdity alone.

Raises the question as to the bolt pattern on the bellhousing and TT at the 968 engine end.
Would be a "crazy" conversion if the 968 TT and bellhousing bolted up to the M28 V8
With use of Porsche parts the conversion would be really good project IMHO anyways.
