What is the weight of a stock 968 connecting rod?

Stock 944 rods with nuts = 840g (29,63oz)
968 rods are 115g lighter = 725g. I've heard in reality they are around 720g.

Don’t forget there was a recall of early 968 rods as the factory changed the big end just slightly as they made a stronger webbing change that is noticeable stronger on the axis

Do you know what years, vin numbers were affected?

Reinforced connecting rods
Adopted for production from Oct. 1, 1993,
as of the following engine numbers:
42 R 00 598 (engine type M 44/43)
42 R 50 621 (engine type M 44/44)
