Default Hagerty Article on 10 Cars They're Bullish On

Hagerty did a nice piece (I'm sure many of us saw it, if not Bullish View on 968) about the 968 being on their list of cars they're bullish in in 2022. What is the consensus here? I've only been in the game for a year and while it's not an investment by any means, when I decide to move on, if I break even I'll be satisfied. Even if I don't, I've enjoyed ownership so far. I've gotten a lot of thumbs up around town, quizzical looks, and met a few other 968 owners.

Hagerty has been saying that for several years now. So far, not much appreciation.
Prices of the original NSX have doubled or more in the last 18 months. Most other collectable cars have done much better than 968's, at least according to BAT.

Even 996's have performed better.

Having sold my 996 at exactly the bottom of the market, in 2017, it would be nice if I'd bought the 968 at the 'right' time. But I'm not planning on selling it, there's far too much work to do and fun to be had

18 months seems like a very artificial timeframe, sort of like looking at murder rates only for the last 20 months. Go to https://bringatrailer.com/porsche/968/, set the filter to Sold Only. Prices are clearly increasing, just not stratospherically.
Sadly, I personally am one of the reasons, but yeah, they're going up.

The car I believe doesn't belong on the list is the RX7. I love that car, but old, barely-used Wankels are a nightmare.
