Default Engine wiring harness

Greetings, I am looking for the whole engine bay wiring harness. So much of the wiring in the engine bay has literally come apart with the AZ heat. I have replaced the harness that goes to the battery but would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!

A couple years before I bought my 1992, a chain auto service center screwed up a battery install and fried the harness. The chains' insurer paid for brand new engine and main body harnesses from Porsche and an aftermarket Porsche specialist to install it. Think the bill was $7 K , could check to see the harness pricing.

Guess brittle wiring is not something will need to worry about.

If you want to ask, you can reach out to Kroon (no affiliation) and see if they'd replicate the harness for you.

They are well reviewed on other models.

Cheers

Default RED ALERT: CHANGE YOUR ALT-STARTER HARNESS

After reading a thread on the 968 Forum, I decided to buy a new Alt-Starter harness from a member on eBay.
Mine, like others, had become brittle and all the insulation had cracked off. Several people have had this harness short out and “auto-start” their cars. Really bad if your car is parked in gear without the e-brake applied.
