Default Wanted: Spare part from a junk bumper

So I have this part I am looking to purchase from someone that may have a bumper that is toast? Its a re-enforcement part that goes around the hatch lock mechanism. Looks to be held into the bumper with a few rivets. Mine is broken at the support and this is not a part that looks to be sold seperatly. I am in the process of prepping the bumper to be painted and will be removing everything, this is the one thing that is broken.

Here are pictures to show what I am talking about. Thank you for any help anyone can give.

Send Jim Craig a PM. He just picked up a bad rear bumper I had from a wrecked car and he was using for a tail light project and suspect he has no use for the piece you need. He could probably cut out and send to you.

Yogii: That appears to be part # 944.512.103.01.03C, referred to on the parts diagram as "spoiler' (No, not THE spoiler, there are four items including the "hockey sticks" on each side of the glass that are called that). It's held in by four allen head screws, one of which is almost certain to strip when you try to remove them. Sure wouldn't recommend trying to glue it, if you ever need to remove the actual spoiler, you'd have a problem. Look at the bottom side of the piece and see if perhaps those allen screws are simply loose. Or they may be broken. Hope this helps.
