Joel's spring came today! Chain tensioner seems to operate normally.
Made some cam hold down blocks today as well. Now have to make the threaded rods.

No idea. Usually they're lost by that point.

 

That was my threaded rod solution. Two old spark plugs and a bit welding.

 

I tried to do same but with rivets. Did not end well one broke.

 

Here is how I made the threaded rods for the cam saddles if anyone needs to know one way to do it. Thanks to Jshiery for this idea.

I bought 2 of these top dead center indicators.
The inner screw is 3/8th x 16
Went to ace hardware and got a 3/8-16 threaded rod.
