Default Were power locks also keyless entry?

Just wondering. I've got power locks on my '94. With the blinky diode on top of the lock ***** (passenger knobe broken, diode exposed... must replace!)
Didn't get a remote when I bought the car, so I assumed they weren't keyless entry.

But were they?

This is a well documented and fairly easy add on to the 968. I bought this Directed Electronics version for keyless entry only as I do not care for aftermarket alarms of any kind. You can also add an additional relay to pop the trunk, I have not added that but will one day soon.

Ahha, thank you. Does it require hacking things up, drilling, etc?

Can anyone point me to instructions on how to install this for the 968?
