To Tint or not to Tint - that is the question
#16
I'm not totally against tint, my grey 240SX looked great with it, but for a 968 I'm torn.
To a certain extent, tint is less "serious". Ever seen a race car with tint ?
Not that race cars should dictate aesthetics...we'd all be riding in bare metal tubs with exposed wiring and a battery in the floor board.
If you do tint, it should definately be subtle....maybe even slightly lighter on the door glass. Check out the tint on this 944.

Maybe the worst thing about a dark tint is that you miss out on that moment at the red light when the eyes of the guy next to you admiring your car meet your eyes and you both give a slight knowing nod that says "yeaaaaaah".
