Which is oilpressure and which is return?

Which is oilpressure and which is return?
Hi.
Need help to determine which fitting on the oilfilter housing that is the pressure outlet and which is the return inlet.
I am building a 968TS replica and will hook twin oilcoolers up like on the factory cars and need to be sure of the flowpath of the oil.
From what I have learned oil should be fed through the bottom of the coolers and exit from the top to get the best cooling effect. Hope thats correct, now just need to know which is pressure source.
