Resetting or changing locking functions on a Boxster almost always requires an electronic tool that Porsche dealers possess. Some independent shops might own one too.
There are aftermarket tools such as “Durametric” that can reset and change some things on these cars but you would need to investigate their products to see if they do what you want.
