Default M030 vs Non-M030 Brake Hoses

Apparently there is a difference between the two. Replacement Goodridge hose lines depend if the M030 option is fitted. Is the difference just hose length or threaded fittings - i.e. are M030 calipers very different to standard apart from size?

Difference is length. 030 hoses are shorter because the 030 caliper has a metal pipe in between the hose and the caliper. The pipe and hose meet at the bracket on the strut housing. An illustration of this is in the catalog.
