Hi Garry, Macca has been trawling for the Brits but nothing has come of it. I think the best person to contact would be Jason with the Maritime Blue 3.3. Otherwise everything seems to have gone to ground (or garage!). The other option is Nigel Kay who will be on the NITT next week. Worth a try.

John , I have sent Nigel an email and I'm looking forward to meeting him this
weekend at the NTT , he seems firm on holding that one .
Jason , I will will have to catch up with at some stage , it's a shame your's and Klint's are gone now .
There was a black car in the Bay of Plenty a while ago , don't know if that car sold ?

Default Turbo 3.6 for sale in Japan

For a while I kept track of the Turbo 3.6 cars in NZ but stopped a while back as they weren't often seen around. There is a regularly driven Black Turbo 3.6 in Auckland. It was a white Singapore car repainted at some stage. No Speedlines so less valuable, but I sense that car isn't being sold either. A pity you weren't in a buying position when mine was up for sale, but to be honest I think the boat has sailed on these cars. Not unless you have a big budget.

I think you are correct about the boat sailing , I was keen on Klint's car , but the stars where't in line at the time , I would run with a 964 3.3 for a while , I feel they are more refined and usable than the early Turbo cars

I haven't driven an older turbo, but a serial turbo owner confirmed that. The Turbo 3.6 is a great drive.

Problem with most Japanese imports is that they're often blinged out with a ton of mods. That stance, the low beam unit, and wow, that head unit...
