Default Difference between Swans Neck & G pipe

Hello,

I am going to install soon a Cargraphic Cat Bypass pipe and currently have a G pipe and Swans neck with me.

What is the difference between them ?

Swans neck is to use Cat bypass pipe and connect it to the OEM muffler or Aftermarket muffler ?

In the up coming months my car will have a triple exhaust by pass.

WasteGate Cat Bypass > Cat bypass > Muffler Bypass.

Both work in place of the stock muffler.
The "g" pipe will allow you to hear the turbo spooling (I didn't care for that) and it will be loud.
The swans neck will be a little quieter but will create more backpressure.
I've never seen an aftermarket muffler that occupied the same space as the stock one. All the ones I've seen replace the cat.
You may want to try the cat bypass and the stock muffler if you don't want a really loud sound.

I used a 100 cell dansk cat and swans neck and it sounded great but alerted every cop for 20 miles I was coming. If you want loud it is the way to go and if you like the sound of the turbo spooling it will be what you want. I ended up swapping it out because it was too loud.

I have a very free flowing burns stainless muffler and a G pipe. Sounds great.

It is going to be loud

Whats better now is that I am going to use the oem black tips which look much nicer than the previous setups of aftermarket muffler with aftermarket tips that stick out like a sore thumb

Thats a new B&B header as my previous one was damaged going over a speed bump (car is too low on PSS10 suspension).

Interesting that your wastegate dumps into the Cargraphic Dump Pipe... doesn't it normally dump into the left exhaust pipe?

I have also gone with a full cat delete (including for the wastegate side) and a G-pipe.

Engine is still in the UK and waiting for it to come back, but I understand it sounds pretty good.. Can't wait to get it back....

It is going to be a weekend car anyway, though my neighbours will be wondering why their car alarms will have triggered on weekend mornings..

The WG is connect to the Cargraphic Dump Pipe which connects to the left tail pipe.

The tail pipes were not attached as they were sent out for powdercoat as I want them to be perfect "using OEM tips"

My previous setup with Cargraphic Exhaust
