Default Spare Bits

Car back from the shop after a service and replacing rear suspension top mounts. Idling noticeably fast (1500) but otherwise running fine. Found these tubes not connected in the back but don't know what they're for - look like vacuum or air tubes. Also a spare electrical connector in foreground but can't find anything it might connect to. Photo left hand side of engine compartment. Help identifying these pse?

The disconnected signal hose goes to the EZ-69 ignition controller. The signal it provides to the controller (either vacuum or boost) tells the controller how much to advance the timing. It's extremely important. Don't drive your car again until you put that line back together with a worm clamp.
The electrical connector is called the octane jumper. If you have to run low octane fuel you jump that port and the EZ-69 advances the ignition 3 degrees. Don't worry about it unless you are running low quality, low octane fuel.
You need to have a stearn word with your wrench
