Question Spare tire on a 91 964 turbo

Hello everyone

In a few days I'll be the (happy) owner of a 964 Turbo :-)

A perfect companion for my M3 e30 (but soon for sale )

I started to order some parts, specially to install a child car seat
Anyway this post is about the spare tire that is currently missing

Can i buy a 16" spare tire from any 964?
Like this one? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911-...-/151361304733

or the spare tire is specific for a turbo?

Tx in advance

William

You have a fine taste for cars, like the E30 M3 and 965 Turbo.

the part nbr 965... says it belongs to you. That nbr starting with 965 in the ebay advt is a turbo part nbr . do you have the electric pump to inflate if needed. Is there a "tie down" bolt and large washer to hold the spare in place in the well. ah, the joys of ownership!!

PS pelicanparts is asking $960.00 for this part. FYI get hold of the web site for the "original porsche parts catalogue". Its a great help in finding what you need.

I might have one for sale although the paint is not perfect. I have to verify if it is a 16" I also have the plate that holds it down. IIRC.

Just keep in mind that - except in the most extreme circumstance - your spare tire is really a flatbed.
