When I first started looking for these in 2002 I nearly pulled the trigger on a 94 with salvage title needing massive amounts of work but the car eventually sold for $30k back then. I am very happy I stuck it out although there are far more salvage titled 94's out there than everyone realizes.

Salvage titles are not the end of the world..one big question in my book would be "why did it receive the Salvage title?"...if it were due to accident..that may be a deal breaker. Now if it were theft..and several items were removed but no damage to the body, engine or tranny..then in my eyes that is minimal..seats and wheels can still be found. Keep in mind if one was stolen and the insurance paid out but the car was later found, it would still have a salvage title..due to theft recovery..even if unharmed. Tread with caution but don't rule it out..at least that's my opinion(I can be wrong..at least that is what my wife tells me..lol)

Salvage titles will always be an issue with resale, no matter how good the car, plus some states wont even license a car with a ST. However, as Rey points out, sometimes you can really find a diamond in the rough with a ST.
