Default Another one here..looking for a 964 Turbo

Hi guys

Its been a few years since the last time I was here, but its nice to be back.

Looking for a 964 turbo deal, ideally a 3.6 or an S.

Had numerous 3.3's and two 3.6's RHD cars before (which I ve sold as part of my job), but now looking for a LHD car for my collection (can be European, US or UAE spec anything really as long as its LHD).

I wouldn't mind something that has high miles and / or needs resto if the price is right (which is hard nowadays) but I wouldn't really want a car that has / had accident damage (unless it was something very light).

Missed out on the blue car that went for $30K a few months ago (the one at the RUF garage that needed an engine rebuild). I believe LA Dismantler bought it and they exported it to Germany. That car would have been a good project for me, but..... never mind (everything happens for a reason).

So, I would be open to any color (subject to price, spec etc).

Happy to wait for the right deal to come by, don't need a car tomw, so will be keeping an eye on your threads, if anyone sees something on a website that I might not be aware off (being in the UK), please send me a msg or a link.

Cheers

Yeah I know.... my mate Heytham owns this car, he is a cheeky little bugger isn't him?
I wouldn't be surprised if he sold it though, anyone can ask for anything I guess when it comes to 964 turbo's, and i m sure the car is A1
Tx for the heads up

He did well. Shows how strong the market is here in Europe.

They also have a slate grey 3.3 Turbo. If you're interested in either of these, let me know, as this dealer isn't too far away from me.

Be glad you missed it. If it's the same car I'm thinking about, it was a local car that was rode hard and put away wet. It had been seen being tracked all over the eastern side of the U.S. The Carfax showed that it had an interesting past (lots of owners and was leased at one point). In the end, it was modded poorly, IMO, by one of the "turbo specialists" in town and dropped a valve.

I can swear that this Slate Grey car was for sale online by a private person for a while, and then on PCA...I think out of Phoenix? I also think that one of our RL members was trying to sell it?...

It does look nice in pictures.

Yeah, that car was on Craigslist (Phoenix) for $74,500 back in October. Looks real nice and I can only imagine how much R&H is going to ask for it when they're done (maybe Flachbau isn't too far off on pricing!!).

Thanks guys

That red flatnose looks the part but it's more than I want to spend
Luckily I secured a deal on a 1995 928 GTS Manual a couple of days ago, so I m over the moon at the moment

However, I still can't stop thinking about the 964 turbo.

I was offered a really nice non-sunroof black 3.3 964 in France, fully rebuild engine to 3.8 (I think), around 400 bhp, it's a 1992 car.

The asking price is around 50k euros (I haven't seen it)

Thoughts?

Think you were looking for LHD but I have a RHD 1992 on the market in NZ. Cobalt blue with 18-inch Speedlines from a 3.6.

Somewhere in the mid 50's to 60's depends on condition
