Default Side Skirts - Gap to body?

Chaps

Has anyone had a problem with their side skirts not nipping up to the car body especially near the shark's fin?

I've had mine off and replaced the rubber seals and when back on the car they will not go any closer to the body. The gasp was like that when I bought it and skirts look in good condition with all clips presetn. I am sure the clips are in as far as they will go. It is the same on both sides!

Short of applying heat and trying to reshape them I'm at a loss

My gaps are worse than that.... I'll take some pics and post. I'm concerned when I wash the car water can get into the hole where the gap is.

Don't worry. It just runs down the rocker panel underneath to the ground.

Jeff, when I checked with Pelicanparts they are $630 a side (965 559 193/194 01) Maybe Sunset will sell them for little less.

Next time I take them off and going to mark out where the gaps are and see if I can heat them and try to reform them back for a better fit. Got to be worth a go?

I'd agree $200 is way too cheap for these and trying out a used set is hard to find given the 965 limited supply
