Wow @Mike BadBoys1. Love it. Definitely worth it on a '94 3.6. Impressive for sure. Gals LOVE IT too, when guys take care of their undercarriage (oooh, sorry. bad taste, but just could NOT resist). But seriously, did you lift the car for the show, and put mirrors on angle next to the car? Or jack it up & put on ShoTrak type ramps to show off the bottom? I've done that w/ my '68 BB Camaro RS/SS, and it really makes a difference to the judges (spent several years getting the bottom as clean as the top).
Ques: Since I have so little Concours experience, does anyone ever lift their Porsches for Concours?
Oh, and no, we were not at Pinehurst.
Good to hear you are submitting into the 60 4 60. That corral will be very cool to see every year represented.

Anthony , those markings were on both sides. We were trying really hard not to erase them during cleaning. We lost about half of the markings.
Steve , no we didn't lift car and I haven't seen anyone do it at a concours. However I would like to
leave off all the undercarriage covers to show how clean it is.
Really hoping for that 60-4-60 as I think its a significant car for the year. We spent a lot of time and
funds to get car back to as new as possible.

Well done Mike. And yes I HOPE they choose a '94 3.6 for the 60 4 60. That IS the car to represent that year, and yours is certainly impressive!! But of course that will probably mean they will not choose a 964T for any of the 1991-93 years.
Re: lifting the car for Concours - It will be interesting if they have all the cars out on a grass lawn. As we all know that really makes it very difficult to see any of the undercarriage (tires sink a bit, and grass prevents visual inspection). Hope you are on pavement!!

All by hand with degreaser, brake clean, spray 9 etc.
Wanted to dry ice blast but could not find anyone to do it. Did find a guy who would rent me the equipment. Nearest company I found was in Florida , however car is in NJ.
Lots of labor. I don't mind removing as the car doesn't get driven far or often. That sucks but its the way these things are moving.
First time I owned the car I drove it alot and at very high rates of speed. LOL ( ask Anthony, he was with me for one of those little excursions)
