Default My 964 Turbo 3.6 reincarnation

Hello as many of you know I purchased a 964 Turbo 3.6 last month.

The car is at the dealership for a reincarnation.

Ordered:

1)Passenger Side Tail light
2)Orange Reflectors for the front to replace clear
3)Porsche Classic Radio Navi to Replace aftermarket unit
4) Sport pedals and Foot rest from Carnewal
5) FVD Short Shifter.

Need to order :

1) Sunroof Seal (the one I currently have is showing its age)
2) SideSkirt seal for driver side as its showing its age from the sun.

The engine wise things to be replaced :

Some hoses
WUR
Re-sealing of Engine as the car has been sitting for a longtime + Major Service.

What would be left is

Paint Chip on bumper, hood and then a Professional detail inside out + ClearBra.

This baby needs some Tender Loving Care and I am going to give it some.

The car is 19 years old nearly, I am going to bring it back to its glory days.

I'll keep you posted with pics.

Can't wait for the end product. Remember if you refinish the bumper, let it cure for 4-5 weeks before clear bra.

Looks like a great list. I am going to need a sunroof seal soon too. Any input on how involved the install process is? The risk of scratching is a little concerning.... Thx

I will ask the body shop about this, I think its pretty common for a 20 year old car.

Nice Car. The radio sounds interesting. I received the original radio with my 964 however it no longer works. I have an aftermarket in place but would like to replace with an original.

You can get the becker ones from Beckerautosound.com or you can go with porsche's classic radio made specially for aircooled P-cars and older.
