Bargain RHD X88 ?
This low miles X88 in NZ looks in great shape from the pics.

I make the price about £86k or $140k
It is a genuine car ( Reg no. 79 on my site ) and is far superior
to the similarly priced Australian Red car sold recently.

The Brunei X88s usually had Ruf enhancements from new.
My kph speedometer is the same and I assume it was for the
Ruf EKS clutch.

He only drives autos, hence when the two were imported to NZ both had manual boxes put in, and the tip gauges were left in the cars.. The second one in NZ was on an older post.

I believe Turbo Jonny's explanation is correct. There was never a Porsche tip connected to a 3.6 Turbo that I am aware of but Ruf did use their EKS (Electronische Kupplung System) with the 3.6 in the Ruf turbocharged 3.6 liter RCT engine and in specially modified 3.6 Turbos destined for Brunei.

This from the vendor...
"Thanks for your inquiry, the car has three pedals, not the EKS set-up, it also has a split-pulse exhaust, so spools up around 1000rpm sooner, it's great fun to drive.... "

For the pedals, if the conversion to manual was carried out as described in a previous post when imported in NZ, it seems logical now it now has 3 pedals ... I've have never seen a EKS setup, but I guess that the third hole for the clutch pedal could be easily re-opened ...
