I don't know the car, but if it has a thorough, positive service history, then it's one to give serious consideration--particularly in light of the growing interest in the high-fender cars of the late 80s and early 90s.

I know of one highly regarded preowned Porsche 911 specialist who has shipped over 300 of the high-fender 911s to Europe in the last five years. The car that you're considering is a terrific drive; it could also turn out to be a solid investment.

I think it looks like a winner, offer 45k on it, that would be a deal.

I looked at it and it presents nicely. They have it inside the showroom and not on the lot, which says the car is valuable as an icon and brings traffic (it pulled me in there), not just $$$. Lots of maintenance records. At $45K It would have been in my garage a while ago. I'm still looking for one, preferrably a '92.

If they're asking 50, and have had it awhile, I bet they would take 45K, jmo
Not a lot of these cars around, and this is a particularly nice one. If I was in the market for a 964t nice driver, I'd pounce.

Yea especially since they probably gave some guy 25,000 dollars for it on a trade.

I'm at the point where I may start looking at the $39k dodgy cars. Maybe I can find a clean one with higher miles. Theres 2 available, maybe one of them is clean with 80k miles and I can talk em down to $35k.

I have to say, I'd be cautious on this one. Appears to have a had few mods, and there is no info to say what, or by whom. Don't like the way the rear seats have been stripped out and replaced (hifi install?) Exhaust is not standard, don't recognise the tips, does this mean it has had other work?

I'd want a whole lot more background to pay top dollar.

I agree it is odd the rear seats are in the truck....

Not sure ont he exhaust, but it doesn't look stock. I have a B&B system with heat and a sport cat on mine (had to pass emissions this year) and they look similar in shape, but don't have rolled tips.

The interior looks good though, nice and clean, minus the missing speaker grille on the drivers door.

Coledoggy, what is the story on you GT3?

Thanks for the replies, just looking right now, but I wouldn't mind having one of those dudes.

My gt3 is a 04 with 35k miles. No stories, just looking to maybe try out something different. Although the gt3 is an awesome car.

I spoke to them about the car last week and just noticed yesterday they lowered it by 1k. They do not seem interested in dealing on the car. I told them I thought the car should sell at 45k and that I was a buyer at that price they said no. The also didn't seem to have a lot of answers I was looking for on the cars history and any body damage to it - dont trust car fax. There is a local one here in Fort Lauderdale in red that will sell for 44k, but red is not my color. There is also a 94 964 Turbo 3.6 thats available but probably wont sell for less than 70k. Anyhow I'm looking if anyone knows of any other that are available.

Between aol autos and car dot com there are 10 964t listed. MVL leasing in toronto has a sweet '91.
And california competition & classics has an amazon green '91.

12 cars listed that I see. If you keep asking around an owner of an unlisted car might contact you, but be ready for a sloan asking price, hehe. Plus most cars have been molested with aftermarket stuff.

Keynes - Thanks for the heads up. I never seem to remember to look at cars.com or aol. Always just autotrader and ebay. Toronto may not be a bad idea. I have family there that can check out the car for me. Funny about Sloan...I'm not sure how they sell any cars.
