Default 3.3T "RS" or clubsport build

Maybe acquiring a 3.3 soon

And thinking about the project

So first I'd swap my monoballl bits from my 3.6t and put her back to stock
Add my JIC coil overs and Rs front and rear bars
Power flow intake from 3.6... And again back to stock for her

Now the fun begins
Roll cage design?
Proper harness install ... Not the BK harness mounts
Diff? What to do? What comes on the 91 3.3?
Sunroof delete?
Cams?
Turbo?
Custom exhaust?
NASA gts what?
PCA class?

Anything I'm forgetting?

Oh yes... Champagne taste... Budweiser budget

I'd convert the 3.6 to near stock and call it a day. Class racing a 965t is going to cost a fortune. You can pick up a 996/cayman/boxster track car and be dollars ahead. Keep the 3.6 on the street.

What TT Surgeon said!! Trying to build a 3.3T to be competitive on the track will cost you a ton. By the time you build a proper EFI setup, gears, suspension, cage, seats, brakes, wheels, weld up roof, paint plus the cost of the car, you could have bought a modified 996 GT3 and have track money for 3 years.

It's a matter of individual taste, of course, but it takes some effort and lots of cash to make a 964 Turbo look radical. You could go the Turbo S route or if that's too tame there's always the Rauh Welt path.
I've considered "sporting" changes for my car from time to time but the major issue for me is that I wouldn't want to give up my Speedline replica (RH) wheels, which IMO, are as iconic as Fuchs are to an older 911.

Why not buy the yellow 3.6 (w 3.8 engine) track car that has been discussed here? I don't think it is much more than a good 3.3 and it is done already.
