Going to buy a 964 turbo. Need help
I want to buy a 964 turbo but dont know what would be the right one and what to look at.
What do you think of the 930?
There is one I am looking and and it is with the 3.3 engine.
I dont want the 933. Just somehow dont like the front lights.
Point me in the right direction.

The 930 is very dated compared to the 965: If you like modern brakes, transmission, electronics, ABS, and air conditioning, the 965 is the way to go.

We presume in your message that you have a typo as the 933 vs. a 993 turbo, correct? Taste is a matter of preference and there are multiple advantages of the 964 turbos over the predecessor 930's as already outlined above. The best route would be for you to drive one of each and get your ideas about what your needs and likes are. Those of us in this specific forum will always be biased in favor of our 964 turbos because that's what we own. As with any purchase of a Porsche (especially a turbo), a PPI is imperative so good luck and keep us posted.
