Angry Running rich drinking gas

Ok I have had my '91 C2T in the shop for almost a month. She is running rich and drinking gas @ 10mpg. My mechanic is pulling is hair out. Does anyone have any ideas? He has a doner car that he has been doing part swaps with to no avail. Any input would be welcome.

What is the current setting of the CO? This could explain the running rich condition.

Good luck,

Sonny

Maverick:

Sorry, but I don't remember your modifications - it could be a number of things from WUR to fuel distributor.

Who is your mechanic? I can make some suggestions for alternatives. A month is a long time to have your car in the shop. I am also curious who offers donor cars. I'll send you my cell phone number in a private message - give me a call and we can talk.

Great news! I have my car back and she runs perfect. New injectors, intake manifold gaskets and two plug wire ends. Apparently Porsche plug wires are in two parts. The ends unscrew. Two of them did not Ohme out correctly. What a difference it makes the car runs great.
