Removing the knee protection strip.
Hi all !
To replace my airbag (and the cover on the passangers side) I need to remove the knee protection strip under the dash. I mean the big soft thing which also holds the ashtray. Porsche part number is 964 552 073 00 .
My question is: HOW ??!!
I found the bolds on the sides behind a little cover, and also the 2 bolts behind the ashtray. I do get some movement in the kneeprotection strip, but not enough. Do I have to remove the centre console also ? And if I do: HOW ?!
A little rush is needed, I have to bring the car for import examination tomorrow....
