Porsche prince baby seat doesn't fit
After doing some research and talking to a main Porsche dealership, I discovered that the "Porsche Prince" baby seat is supposed to fit the rear seats of the 964/5 Turbo 3.6, so I bought one. However when I tried to fit it today I found out that there isn't enough rear seat belt to go all the way round the front of the seat as required. Would there be any reason why the Turbo 3.6 has shorter rear seat belts than the other 964 cars, or the 993 cars??
I know how hard it's going to be to convince the dealership that they sold me the wrong seat even though I gave them full details of the car....
Anyone got any info on why the baby seat won't work?

Same seats and seat belts Greg. Supposed to fit are not words I would have used,

PS: Remember what the paperwork says. "It is possible" to install them in the rear seats. Heavy discussion on the General Forum.
PSS: For the record it is solely my personal opinion that babies do not belong in the rear of 911s.

Hi Adrian. I posted that comment weeks ago when you and I first discussed the issue.
The seat fits fine - apparently (according to my local OPC) you can get longer rear seat belts which fix the problem. But they cost more than the child seat!
So I went for the 2-point seat belt option and put in a lap belt instead. Now it fits and works just fine.
Cheers
