Think you had someone who doesnt know how to shift..1st and second go by quick...a lot of time could be lost if not a good driver...anyway I love the 964/965s and plan to get one in future years! however these cars and 993tts were never close to staying next to 02TT when racing them...and down in FLA...Ive had a lot of these friendly races!
Cheers <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />

I agree, crappy driver. that was my only rational conclusion. But I would have thought he would have pulled away once we hit 3rd gear and the shifting was over. Owell I guess it was my lucky day. THX for the input.

I have a 94 3.6 turbo with headers, exhaust, evc, and a k-29 hybrid turbo and I just raced a guy that i know in a yellow 2001 996tt. His car was bone stock, even the paper air filter was still in place. We wanted to compare motor to motor, so he did not do an awd launch that he could and i had him by just a bit all the way to 90 mph or so, then he started to pull slowly. He had me by a full car at 125 or so. My boost was set at 0.96 bar and i did not use the overboost button. May be next time...
