Default Need a bit of help locating a connector.

Where does the harness on the air/flow meter go to ? I went to install a rpm switch with my BL WUR and the air-flow meter isn't plugged in. I can't seem to find where the PO stashed it!?!? If someone knows or could feel around where the harness leads to that would give me a great place to start looking.

Thanks..

Are you talking about the switch on the fuel distributor? Mine's not plugged in either. It's not on the wiring diagram so I don't think it's used on the 965. I believe it's the "safety switch" on the 930.

Yeah the green one on the fuel head is the one I'm talking about. It states on the rpm switch instructions that when it is unplugged it should activate the solenoid that is is blocking the WUR from activating under boost. I want to test it before I put it back together again.. Maybe I need to contact BL.

I had a voltmeter on mine with the engine running and it is dead as in no voltage. Good luck getting hold of Brian. You might be better off posting over on the Pelicanparts turbo board or the 911 Turbo board here as a lot of guys have installed that switch over there.

Guru, you are correct, BL got back with me explaining to me the theory of what I need to do to check them. Now if I could only get my hands on some workshop manuals to figure it out.
