Fabspeed bypass pipe

Anyone have this installed on their car? Any feedback would be appreciated

Cat or muffler? I assume cat. We had a 3.6 here with one on it.

High quality stuff. Installation difficulty depends on the condition of your hardware.

The tone is definitely more "gruff" that stock. I can't imagine you NOT liking it. Spool is a little quicker if your cat is good, or it'll be revolutionary if it's plugged ;)

Thanks Bird! The pipe would replace the cat

You may find you need a 14mm "S" bend wrench to get to the top nut/bolt on the turbo in order to remove the CAT and install bypass pipe and all "S" wrenches are not the same. Perhaps some one in the forum has a better solution. Definitely worth the install. Less weight better sound. I found only a tiny change in emissions

Mike , did you already get one? What did you decide to do muffler wise?

Y65MPH 06-23-2012 01:56 AM

Make sure your run some sort of secondary muffler, even some sort of goose neck. Running this car straight out is super loud but it does sound like a 935 race car. Also, watch over boosting if you are using a 1 bar spring.

I had one on my 964 turbo and the stock exhaust sounded throatier, but not obnoxious.

Haven't gotten one yet, the Fabspeed looks good and prolly will go with that. Gonna run the stock muffler

Yep Craig will keep the secondary muffler. Gonna run the stock exhaust. Using the stock spring. Thanks man.

I'm running no cat and no muffler with a 1 bar spring and don't think it is too loud. The turbo sort of acts like a muffler. Spins up quick too,

The Fabspeed bypass is a great upgrade - more power, less weight, awesome sound (but not too loud), and the spool up is much quicker. By the way I have a used one for sale, if you're interested PM me :)
