Default Smoke from oil tank?

I just got my turbo back on the road after changing turbo charger and removal of Blitz boost controller that was installed by previous owner. I took the car for a short spin and were going to fill in more oil...I had my car on idle while I opened the oil cap and noticed a significant amount of smoke coming from the oil tank. What could be the cause for this?

Here is a video of the problem...maybe the light makes it look a bit more than in daylight, but it is still easy to notice.

First, drive it slowly back to the person who did the work and tell him to fix it. Second, it shouldnt do that!! Third, it appears from the video that the engine is pressurizing the oil tank on stroke which makes me think the oil lines may not be hooked up correctly. Fourth, be absolutely sure you have good oil pressure or dont drive it anywhere!!!

Having been all through my oil circuit, I feel confident in saying it's virtually impossible to hook up the factory lines incorrectly. If that happened, vapor out of the oil tank would be the least of the issues.
Piston ring blow-by is the cause of oil pressurization that would cause vapor to come out of the oil tank. Broken rings due to detonation is a common issue with Turbos, especially ones that have been operated at high boost with incorrect fueling.
Unfortunately, you may be looking at an engine rebuild scenario.

The oil lines are correctly connected no doubt about it. I overfilled the engine before will oil due to a faulty oil gauge, this also caused the turbo charger to break when excess oil from the oil tank was going into the air cleaner box and from there into the turbo charger. This all happened on a track day when the oil got hot. Can this overfilling have anything to do with the smoking from oil tank issue I'm experiencing right now?

Maybe I need to check the cylinder leak-downs to make sure that everything there is right first...
