Visit to Rauh Welt
...been quite a few postings about this "porsche tuner" and he has received global coverage in both euro & usa mags.
with my wife's help as translator...we trained out to kashiwa ( plus 1 hr from tokyofrom tokyo) for a visit with nakai-san, creator / founder of rauhwelt-begriff.
...now 1st of all know he has built literally 100's of cars here in japan & is really well known ( he will be racing his car 'stella artois at tsukuba circuit on march 13 & expects at least 20 of his customers/friends will be there....by the by this is japans F-1 circuit) and is now not surprised by offshore interest in his attitude to modifying p-cars...(from work /project quotes from euro land, australia/new zealand & usa).....but he was courteous indeed & most delightful guy, i would put on my japanese face & describe him as a mechanic with an artists heart.
he actually does keep his shop open til 3 or 4 a.m. ......every day for his porsche buds where they no doubt partake in his favorite beer (name of his race car) stella artois. his desk is a pool table with part glass top, & YES he confirmed he actually sleeps in his shop.
cars & his mods thereto are his life................
HIS DAILY DRIVER
HIS RACE CAR ( stella artois))
OTHERS.....projects on the way/waiting for customer pick up ( his order book is full for plus 3 mos),

Nope....
The HOONIGAN car is Brian Scotto's from HOONIGAN......
His car and the other 2 SEMA cars were brought to TNT AUTOBODY in Sacramento, CA for the paint and all the bodywork was done by NAKAI at FATLACE x RWB USA in San Mateo, CA.
