perhaps interesting for those who created those lists -

the C-codes from 00 - to 99 are declared as : Country Equipment -

so, although often repeated in these lists : C36 is : Country Equipment Canada

and this is not reduced to emission rights ! ( Same for C02 or C03 )

XW7 - rosette warningbuzzer in leather ( a part that makes a noise - not a light ) would be the right translation - EFH = electric window lifters ; ESD = electric sunroof - if that helps ..

I´m still searching for the Country Equipment code : C80 - even Porsche-Classic is obviously not able to find an explanation for it

and the M-Code 230 - often used on 964 and 993

Thanks for those updates! I wondered what EFH and EFD were ... and the rosette for warning buzzer makes sense as the warning light has no rosette.

Default Hey You!!

Mark, your dedication to these puppies never ceases to amaze me!!! Wouldn't know half of what I know about my car if it weren't for you.

Mine is now living here in Scottsdale. Don't know if you know Bob S. who bought a black/black car that also lives here. I'm still planning to be buried in mine!!

You owe me a call dude. been way to long!!

Gotta go decode now!!

Later, Les

Thanks, Les. I am glad the 'core' audience is still there ... and now being rewarded with the Porsche museum display this spring. From obscurity to total recognition has taken more than 10 years.

Cam Ingram (Bob Ingram's son) of Road's Scholars is good friends with Rolf Sprenger so I think we will be getting some very interesting insights into the genesis of the 1994 flachbau from Rolf soon. All part and parcel of the recognition process and the Exclusive dept. museum presentation.

I know Bob S. he also has the Yellow Package car. He also recently purchased a 993 RS which is also in Scottsdale I understand.

Yes I owe you a call - no excuses. Been buried ... and will come up for air soon. And I will be touching base.

Thx - Mark
