South America barn find...that's actually pretty humorous sounding ;-)

 

I'm not certain what is so humerous about it,there are plenty of collectors and car traders in brazil,
argentina, venezuela to name a few.
Of course this was a european import ours are as well and emmissions wise except for california most
cars built after '90 meet very similar standards ROW or US .
Unfortunately it sounds as if this car was dogged and wrecked and the owner was attempting to obscure most of those details.
I doubt the DOT requirements would be much more than bumper pads, marker light color change
and a third brake light.
All ROW and US have cats so thats a wash, to bad it wasn't up to snuff sounded interesting. Bert
