I can post photos tonight of the ones on a 3.3 it you still need them. As mentioned the two stickers on the right are available from the dealer however, the left one comes in silver and the right one in gold... go figure!

Seams that with age and the engine heat, the black print on the original copper coloured plaques becomes dry and simply rubs off!!

The Oil Level sticker part number is 964.006.111.00 and now comes as a silver sticker.

The Tyre Pressure sticker part number is 964.701.287.03 and still comes as a copper plaque.
However, the design has changed from the original and has clearer to read tables.

PMs answered.

If anyone wanted to get some of the oil level stickers made up in the USA, on the correct gold foil ( cheaper for everyone involved, with the £/$ exch. rate ), I could get the artwork done for the printers, if that helps; would keep the set-up costs down. I am sure enough 964 owners would want them.

PM sent Sifly.

Paul, do you mean interested in a Shell sticker or in getting the gold foils printed? Not sure if my above post was clear, but I will do the artwork gratis, if someone wants to get them printed in the USA. I just think it will work out better price wise for everyone if it is done Stateside.

I am selling off the Shell stickers at GBP £1.00 each, plus shipping - UK 90p, RoW £1.50. If anyone wants to order one or a few, please PM me with a PayPal address and I will invoice you.

Sorry, Steve; Sod's Law. Just thought I should offer them at cost, seeing that it's RL members interested.

Adam, I never thought that a RL member was the seller so no worries.

I know that my car came with the Shell sticker but i've seen other cars with a Mobil 1 sticker which i think said "Recommended by Porsche Cars GB". I think my mate has one in his 90 C2 so i'll try to get a picture the next time i see him.

Steve, I think the Shell sticker was used from the 930, right through to the early 993s and across the entire range; certainly on the 928. The Mobil sticker came in later, but I assume it is possible that dealers would have changed the sticker when a car came in for a service with the new recommended oil.

There seem to be a few variations, even for the Shell sticker. When I was making the print template I had numerous images to work from, which had two disticnt variations; the dimensions of the sticker and the thickness of the black font. Had to plump for one style in the end and create the font from scratch to get it just right. Yes, I am a geek!

Mines a 91, and has a Porsche Mobil 1 sticker on it (which has bubbled with age)!! As you say, this may have been changed at the dealership during a later service?!

It is my understanding that the Shell stickers are no longer available through Porsche. Mobile 1 only.

Hi to everyone,
I'm quite new on this forum, my first message, but joined in 2007.

I'm also looking for the oil label on my 964 Turbo.
It is correct that now in Porsche you can find it only in silver, but I would like to have it in gold. Meek, could you help me?

Just a note on the pressure label.
On the 964 3.3T and 3.6T the correct one has code 965-701-287-03
You can reconize it because the rear pressure for winter tires is 3 bar insted of 2.5 bar of the non turbo cars.

Hope it can help.

Ciao
Ettore
