Congrats on your decision, excellent choice.
Are you taking the ferry or the eurostar train from Dover-Calais?
I drove this route many times from Germany to London and back, always took the train its quicker (30minutes) and you wont get seasick. Make sure you take a lot of pics!

Polman, is this the midnight blue 3.3?
If so it was owned by a good friend of mine before (Phil965) and he looked after this car.

My trip was to cross 5 countries and put 2496 miles on the Taco. First time in left traffic between Oxford and Dover....Interesting! I took the car train, that was quick but 164 GBP was Juice! Then I could drive with my "spine" again.......Poor Germans though....there is always constructions on the Autobahn, radio screaming out Stau for 8 km...to drive that distance...you need 45 minutes !!! Total cost to bring it home was about 500 GBP
Now the car rests in my garage, have to register it here in Sweden and get my new plates. Then work is around the corner to get the car in very good shape. A lot off cleaning underneath, and a total interior cleaning and dying the leather seats to "as new" condition......

Enjoy!
If you have any questions about the car's past and work, let us know. I see Phil regularly. I have also driven the car....
on the track.

...just kidding!
