I'm in Davie, so Boca is definitely doable. There used to be a meetup in South Beach once a month, lots of 993 guys would show up and a 964 turbo or two. Cruised down to Key Largo once also.

Welcome, on October 11th, 2009, we will be hosting standing ONE mile runs. Drivers and Bike Riders of this event will start from a dead stop and drive/ride as fast as their car/bike and skills will allow through the one mile. The highest mile per hour is the goal of each participating speed enthusiast.

The event will be held at The Dade Collier Airport

Ok guys where is the meeting spot? How about 9:00AM at Starbucks on Coral Ridge drive just north of the Sawgrass? or some place more south?

Oct 11th Schedule:

7:00 Gates open
7:15 Tech lane open
7:30 first 15 will run slow course drive through.
7:40 to 8:40 first 15 (HeadStart group) will run.
8:45 slow course drive through for all participants
9:00 Open to spectators.
Between 9:00 and 9:15 Group A will start run, after several runs Group B than C will run. This will continue throughout the day.
Noon time runs closed for 30 minutes.
12:30 Runs resume through the close of day.
Course closes 30 minutes before Sunset approximately 5 pm.

i think there should be a " meet up " farther north as some WPB guys may be coming as well. Then maybe converge with the southern boys at Coral Ridge. Either way i need to get my a** out there and finish my EFI conversion
