Hallo Jonas,
Wat een verhaal... Hopelijk valt het achteraf mee. Heb je je 3.6 Turbo inmiddels?

7 months later....
Finally the car has arrived in Holland. Now I have to get the car through customs and make minor adjustments and repairs.
I still did not see the car in real life, but we are getting close. I'm not giving in thats for sure.
Keep you posted....
@sportscarfreak:
Mooi om te zien dat er nog meer 3.6 liefhebbers zijn in ons kleine kikker landje. Wij zien elkaar vast nog wel eens op een dagje van porsche club holland of zo.

As above, just read this thread and it sounds like you could have run into big problems but glad you didn't and you're nearly at the end of the journey.
Please post some pics of her when you are finally united.

Got the car in my garage now for two weeks. Never been so happy.
The damage was not so bad I have to say. Here are some things I managed to repair/restore;
-restored/polished the paintwork as it was pretty dull, but it's solid black so you're never finished)
-got rid of all kids of exessive wiring from all kinds of old alarm systems and stinger
-replaced the headunit of the soundsystem and upgraded the rear speakers
-ordered and replaced some bits and pieces of the interior.
-cleaned the entire interior
-replaced the US type headlights for Euro type ones
-disconnected the dayrunninglights
Now I am refurbishing the speedline wheels because they had the usual ugly spots.
Enough for now, first some pictures....

3.6 turbo looked just about like yours ,sold it in '97 for my first TT !
I must say fastest car I ever owned or rather had the gonads to push! I do remember your thread last year...Bert
