Cool, didn't see your name anywhere on their website. Thanks for the response.

Hi Drew...did they mention where the air was escaping (intake, exhaust, crank)? Big help in evaluating the numbers. Before my engine work I had a broken head stud (~26% leakdown) and a broken ring (~15% leakdown).

Man, I hope I don't get in trouble for this...

I know Bob Russo and I trust him, and while I don't know Yasin I have dealt with Motormeister. Again, my money is on Bob Russo.

Was that politically correct...

I don't know where the air was escaping and to be honest because the numbers were strong we didn't investigate; the motor was at temp when we took the IC and other components apart and started the test.

My money is also with Bob Russo (I guess literally)

Guys, Yasin is totally joking about Motormeister, he is by no means connected with them.

Good luck selling it Drew, and as my resume is not up to par with someone who has worked on a 962, I won't comment on the leakdowns.

Those leak down numbers look high to me. especially when you have 2 cylinders that are high and teh rest look decent.

Great numbers for the leakdown, contrary to some opinions given in this thread.

Those results are fine.

The rule of them I used was
<10 tight
10-20 fine
>20 start thinking
>25 evaluate oil consumption cost vs. rebuild cost

I have been building top fuel engines for years and have built a number of M64 engines.

Here's a quick primer on leakdown tests, for those of you who don't venture off the forum much:
